What is jaan?

Jaan is ultra-purified, re-mineralized drinking water—crafted with intention in Bali. Locally sourced and bottled, we use advanced filtration technology to remove impurities down to 0.0001 microns, then restore a precise balance of essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate for taste, wellness, and harmony.

We’re a local brand—and proudly so. As far as we know, no other water company in Bali matches our level of sustainability. We bottle in glass and BPA-free galons, avoid chemicals, and operate with minimal waste—because pure water should nourish both people and planet.

We’re also the only water company in Bali with a certified in-house Water Sommelier. Trained to understand the taste, structure, and health properties of water, our sommelier helps guide everything from mineral balance to quality testing—ensuring that every drop of Jaan is both technically excellent and sensorially refined.

Our commitment doesn’t stop at the bottle. Through our Vital Source program, we support the community with water access initiatives and educational opportunities for our team.

What filtration methods are used to make jaan?

At Jaan Water, we use an advanced five-step filtration and purification process to ensure our water is ultra-pure and of the highest quality. This includes removing impurities, microplastics, and particles down to 0.0001 microns. Our process also incorporates UV light technology to disinfect the water, eliminating bacteria, viruses, and other harmful pathogens. Finally, we re-mineralize the water with essential minerals, creating the crisp, balanced taste that Jaan is known for—all without using any chemicals.

What sizes and formats are available?

We offer a range of drinking water products, all filled with the same ultra-purified, re-mineralized Jaan Water:

19L Galon – our household format, available to order online or via WhatsApp
330mL Flask Bottle – sleek and portable, perfect for on-the-go
330mL Table Bottle – ideal for cafés, restaurants, and events
750mL Table Bottle – a refined choice for sharing at the table
Reusable Bottle – designed for daily use, refilled at home with Jaan

At the moment, only the 19L galon is available to order online. All other products can be ordered directly via WhatsApp at +62 811 3965 050.

Water Quality

Is Jaan Remineralized?

Yes, after Jaan's ultra-purification process, we add back essential elements and electrolytes for Jaan's clear and crisp flavor, as well as to support your body's optimal function.

What is Jaan's Remineralization Process?

After ultra-purifying our water—removing impurities down to 0.0001 microns—we thoughtfully return a precise balance of essential minerals. Guided by our in-house Water Sommelier and tested by accredited labs, we add back minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and bicarbonate in exact amounts to reach a TDS of around 85. This balance supports hydration, taste, and overall well-being—making our water not just pure, but purposeful.

Has Jaan Water Been Tested for Microplastics?

We take purity seriously—from source to bottle. That’s why we commissioned SGS Laboratory, the world’s leading testing and certification company, to test Jaan Water for microplastics using FTIR microscopic spectroscopy in their Singapore lab.

The results? Less than 1 microplastic particle per liter of Jaan Water tested.

For context, studies by PIRG and others (as cited on Wikipedia) found 300–500+ particles per liter in many bottled water brands.

Our findings reflect the strength of our ultra-purification process and our commitment to clean, trustworthy water—down to the tiniest detail.

We’re so sorry your water hasn’t arrived on time. While we always aim for timely delivery, in Bali, unexpected delays can happen — from sudden ceremonies to surprise storms.

Do you ship across Bali?
